you know them moments when you look in the mirror and you think holy shit that’s me because for some reason it feels like the person you’re looking at in the mirror is an unfamiliar stranger and you begin thinking about how you’re a person on a planet in a solar system in a galaxy in a universe and for a few minutes you ponder the origin and the meaning of existence and then shrug and return to your computer

Ulterior Brain Media continues to inspire the next generation to dare, not only to dream, but to taste the fruit of it’s labor. Marquie Fernandez, a 19 year old college student has always been interested in the arts. Around the age of 15 she discovered a strong interest in makeup. Around this time she began buying teen makeup books and following the step by step instructions to create different looks. Later on Marquie discovered the online beauty communities and participated in discussions relating to makeup. “This is where I gained a lot of knowledge about different makeup techniques, products, and so on. I also participated in different forum makeup “challenges,” in which I created makeup looks based on a particular theme”, says Marquie.
Recently, Marquie, from an introduction, through a mutual friend, forged an Alliance with Ulterior Brain Media’s CEO, Antoine “Concept” Tramble. Through her passion and professional savvy, Marquie was afforded an opportunity to work on Moodswinga Records recording artist, BJ’s “From da Front” music video set to premier December 17. All the years of consistant studying makeup video tutorials, participating in makeup contests, and doing makeup for friends and relatives was paying off.
“I was very appreciative and excited to have worked on BJ’s “From da Front” music video as this was my first professional gig, and I look forward to working on more shoots in the future”.“It was a two day shoot and lots to get done but Marquie was a pleasure to work with. She was so organized and focus, made my job so much easier. I can’t wait to work with her again”, says Antoine.According to Marquie, “Her dream is to have a career as a makeup artist, working in high fashion”. With a strong interest in the conditions of animal habitats and animal rights, she would like to create her own cosmetic line that is both edgy and cruelty-free.
